In Turkey, tea is grown exclusively in the eastern Black Sea region. Tea gardens harvest four times a year. After a winter of snow cover, the plant returns to nature after about eight months with renewed energy and freshness. In spring, after a dormant period, the first tea plants begin to sprout in April.
